Don’t look now, but the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars are riding a four-game win streak after Friday’s 10-8 victory over Essex Junction (VT).  The Northstars led 10-5 midway through the fourth quarter, but allowed the Hornets to score three quick goals, almost giving the game away.  “We’re still really struggling,” C-NS coach Jack McAndrews said after the game. “We’re putting the pieces together again. We’re just getting started. The biggest thing for this season is developing trust. Trust among players and coaches and most of all, trust between players and players.”  Matt Cramer led the Northstars with three goals. Chase Castler and Conner Lynch chipped in two goals each.

C-NS (4-2) began the season 0-2, including a heartbreaking double overtime loss to Marcellus. Since then, the Northstars have

accumulated wins over LaFayette, Syracuse, Liverpool and now Essex Junction.

Cicero-North Syracuse hosts West Genesee (2-2) on Tuesday.
